Litter-Robot 4: White with partial yellow flashing (Low system voltage)

Created by Ken MacCormick, Modified on Sun, 31 Dec, 2023 at 2:00 PM by Ken MacCormick

Preparation

Litter-Robot will detect if the wrong power supply is being used to power the unit or if the power supply is not providing the correct output voltage.

If your unit displays a white light bar with partial yellow flashing, it's indicating that you need to check your power supply.

You will also receive a notification on your phone if you use the Whisker app.

Troubleshooting

First, check to ensure that the wall outlet is functioning properly

  1. Try plugging a working lamp into the same outlet.
  2. If the outlet is working, you'll need to check Litter-Robot's power supply.
  3. Ensure the power supply is properly plugged into Litter-Robot.
  4. Now turn on your unit.

Litter-Robot will then perform a Clean cycle and return to the Home position with a blue light bar.

Successful: If your unit displays a blue light bar, you've been successful.

Unsuccessful: If you are still seeing a white light bar with partial yellow flashing there's likely an issue with your Litter-Robot.

Issue not resolved?

To repair your Litter-Robot, you will need a power supply.
