Litter-Robot's self-service troubleshooters ( https://support.litter-robot.com/s/?language=en_US) are the fastest way to solve issues with your robot.
If the light bar on your Litter-Robot 4 flashes white for a brief second when you push any button, this indicates that the unit is actively in Control Panel Lockout Mode.. This mode disables the buttons to prevent accidental changes to the unit.
Click here for video instructions on turning Lockout Mode off and on.
To turn Control Panel Lockout Mode off, press and hold the Cycle and Reset buttons for 3 seconds then let go. The light bar will momentarily flash white to confirm the status change then return to a solid blue light.
If the unit has a solid red light bar after this change, it means the cat sensor was activated. If you’ve turned lockout mode off, you can simply hit the Reset button quickly to return the unit to a solid blue light.
