Firmware updates
Whisker releases firmware updates from time to time to keep your Litter-Robot running at its best. Updates are delivered automatically over the air — when your unit is connected to Wi-Fi and online, it installs the latest firmware on its own.
Applies to: Litter-Robot 4.
Keeping your unit up to date
- Make sure your Litter-Robot 4 is connected to Wi-Fi and online in the Whisker app — this is how updates are delivered.
- If the app doesn't offer an update, you already have the latest version.
- During an update, a white light may briefly blink in the middle of the light bar. This is normal and can take up to 30 minutes. When it finishes, the unit returns to a solid blue light bar.
